Thomas Martin Steinbach, 86, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2007. A native of Pontiac, IL, he made his home and career in Chicago until 1985. He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria and his son, Tom Jr., and is survived by his children, Tasia, Paul, Peter, and David. Pop was an industrial designer, artist, teacher, author, and an expert aficionado of the fine arts. His creative, energetic life included inventions and designs of beauty and utility, lay service to the Benedictine community, and he served as board president of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra in suburban Chicago. A great soul, loved by all, he will be sorely missed. A private Mass will be held at Santa Maria del Vid.
