Obituary for MADSON

Lillian M. Madson, 90, died Thursday, August 2, 2007. She was born July 22, 1917 to Martin E. and Carla A. Erdal in Moorhead, MN across the river from her home in Fargo, ND. Her family moved to Albuquerque in 1922, graduated from Albuquerque High in 1937 and then worked for Sears 32 years and was an active volunteer with the Presbyterian Auxiliary. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Naoma "Nome" Greiner; husband, Larry; granddaughter, Gayle Greiner of Dallas, TX; grandson, Gary Songster and wife, Deb of North Platte, NE, five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Arnold Erdal and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Erdal; her granddaughter, Deborah (Greiner) Milligan; and her nephew, Bruce R. Erdal. Her family would like to express special thanks to her care givers at Highpointe Care and to NM Hospice along with all the friends who visited frequently including friends from St. Paul Lutheran Church. Memorial services will be held Monday, August 6, 2007, 10:30 a.m., at St Paul Lutheran Church 1100 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment of the urn will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Should friend's desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87102 or the Hospice of your choice.
