Julie H. Anders, 79, a resident of New Mexico for over 50 years and currently of Albuquerque for seven years, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth G. Pelz of Albuquerque, E.R. "Dick" Greene and wife, Marisol of El Povenir, NM, and Laura Alice Hall Filipowcz and husband, Robert of Ft. Erie, Ontario, Canada; grandchildren, Heather Miranda Greene, Tye Tomas Greene of El Povenir, NM, Julie Frances Filipowcz, Elizabeth Helen Filipowcz of Ft. Erie, Ontario, Canada; sisters, Elizabeth Mae Hansen of Daytona Beach, FL and Helen Romaine Ladd of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by three husbands, William Burke Greene, Tom Dinwiddee Hall and James Anders. Mrs. Anders was active and committed to Alcoholics Anonymous both locally and nationally for over 30 years. Following a successful career as a fashion sales person, she enjoyed volunteering for Lovelace Health System. She served as a confidant and hostess for many young people throughout the Southwest. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Julie's life will take place Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the family home in Albuquerque.
