Robert Nieto, age 60, peacefully passed away on July 15, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born Las Vegas, NM to Lucio and Gomecinda Nieto on September 7, 1946. Robert was a Vietnam Veteran who served his national with the United States Army. He worked for the Albuquerque Publishing Company for over 30 years. Robert loved his family was very dedicated to them, particularly to his wife, Toni Julie of 35 years of marriage. He always had a good sense of humor, and enjoyed making people laugh. Robert is survived by his wife, Toni Julie; three brothers, Arthur Nieto and wife, Eloisa, Antonio Nieto and wife, Ramona, Miguel Nieto and wife, Rosie; four sisters, Alice Juarros and husband, Benjamin, Inez Archuleta and husband, Prospero, Dolores Sanchez and Rita Caskinsky; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ernest Nieto; and one sister, Gloria Baldizan. The Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Father Jerry Plotkowski.
