Christopher Gutierrez, age 24, a resident of Casa Colorada, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2007. He had been a member of Valley Baptist Church since 2006. Chris enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, fishing and also sports and watching television. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Gutierrez of Casa Colorada; father, Eugene Gutierrez; grandparents, Nestor and Timmie Peralta of Casa Colorada; sister, Ariel Lopez of Belen; aunt, Lorraine Vallejos; and uncles, Nestor Peralta, Jr., Leroy Peralta, and Henry Peralta. In addition, he is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. All Services will be held at the Valley Baptist Church, 202 Damon St. in Rio Communities, on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, beginning with a viewing from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. The Funeral will follow at 10 a.m. with Pastor Sal Garcia officiating and burial will follow in Terrace Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenny Romero, Nestor Peralta, III, Casey Peralta, John Henry Peralta, Leroy Montoya, Eliott Peralta, Alfonso Gutierrez, and Henry Peralta.
