Betty Ann Sviben, 50, a resident of Albuquerque, died July 5, 2007. She is survived by her daughters, Buddie Gray of Albuquerque and Anita Gray of Santa Fe and her grandson, Amos James Edward Gray. Betty is also survived by her brother Michael Francis Sviben, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Dzindzio and Marie Jackoboski; her spouse, Jon Gray; as well as her sister-in-law, MichaelAnn Gray; brother-in-law, Clark Gray; and mother-in-law, Claire Gray; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Sviben; and sisters, Debbie Sviben, Harriet Sviben, and Florence Hughes. Betty was a member of the Albuquerque Police Department from 1979 until 1989 and was recently a nutritional specialist in the culinary arts. A Life Celebration will be held Sunday, July 15, 2007, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Park Plaza, 2500 Carlisle NE. in the Brio Lounge.
