Evelyn L. Korte, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007. She is survived by her daughters, Joan McCarty of Rio Rancho, Karla Suttie and husband, John of Placitas and Deborah Johnston and husband, Jerry of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Jillene Jones and husband, Dave, Newt McCarty and wife, Amy, and Jonathan McCarty and wife, Suzanne; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Korte was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Henry. She loved sewing and quilting, taking care of her home and was very dedicated to her family. Mrs. Korte will be dearly missed. Services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
