Geraldine Kay Johnson, 67, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007 after a brief illness. All of those who knew Geraldine admired her for her gentleness, resilience, and confidence, but, most of all, we admired her for her ability to survive tremendous adversity. She cared deeply for the creatures of the earth and found great joy in her frequent visits to the Rio Grande Zoo. Geraldine was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
