Wallace C. Tharp, 88, of Albuquerque died following a short illness Thursday, June 28, 2007. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Pauline in July of 2001. He is survived by his children, Wallace C. (Rose) Tharp III of Houston, TX and Carla Scott-Schmidt of Yankton, SD; and his granddaughters, Jennifer Scott of South Dakota and Natalie (Tony) Rea of Michigan; and his brother, William Donald (Mary) Tharp of Albuquerque. Plans for a memorial services to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Wally, founder and Chairman of the Board of Perma-guard, Inc. for family, friends and business associates will be announced in a latter obituary towards the end of July. Wally will always be remembered for his passion to "get the poisons out of the environment" and to make the world and our food supply safer for all of us.
