John Thomas Morgan, age 60, of Rio Rancho, went to be with his Lord Friday, July 6, 2007. John was born October 14, 1946, in Paragould, AR to Harry and Ina Morgan. After school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He worked as a plant supervisor in the manufacturing industry. John loved southwestern art and lived his dream of working in a gallery atmosphere, living in the Southwest the last years of his life. He loved life and his family, and cherished his friends. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Peggy Morgan; son, Bryan Morgan and his wife, Heather; daughter, Kim Trower and her husband, Mike; daughter, Tracy Sweazey and her husband, Raymond; daughter, Jennifer Leedom; grandchildren, Ryland Morgan, Wesley Sweazey, Bayle Sweazey and Alison Wells. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 9, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho with Pastor Si Budagher officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Friends may visit Monday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the church.
