Obituary for MONTOYA

John David Montoya, age 46, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. He was born in Albuquerque, NM to Manuel and Carolina Montoya and was a native New Mexican. He attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Tome, and was a devout Catholic. John loved the outdoors and especially fishing with his daughters at his side. He will be with us always through the love his family holds for him in their hearts. John was a loving father, brother and son. He is survived by his two daughters, Carolyn and Sarah Montoya; his mother, Carolina and father, Manuel; grandmother, Marguerite Montoya; brothers, William Montoya and his wife, Eileen; Thomas Montoya; Stephen Montoya and his wife, Laura; sister, Felicia Giron and her husband, Pilar; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Tome, on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jose Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow at the Tome Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William, Thomas and Stephen Montoya, and Pilar and Sam Giron, and Manuel Montoya.
