Dixie L. McKeever died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Kaseman Presbyterian Hospice in Albuquerque. She was 89 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn McKeever, a local attorney. Mrs. McKeever grew up in Dubuque, IA, where she married and raised her own family. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert, in 1984 and her husband, Lewis in 2001. She relocated here to be near her daughter. She received her BA degree in music from Clarke College in Dubuque, IA in 1939 and enjoyed playing the piano throughout her life. Burial will be through Egelhof, Seigert & Casper Funeral Home in Dubuque, IA on Friday, July 6, 2007.
