Margie G. Tapia, age 90, went home to be with Jesus, Thursday, June 28, 2007. She followed her husband of 35 years, Antonio Jose; and two sons, Heronimo (Jerry) and Ramon Antonio. Antonio passed on November 1984, Jerry in 1988, and Ramon shortly after birth in 1952. Mrs. Tapia is survived by her sons, Rafael Tapia and wife Patricia Montoya-Tapia and their children, Miguel, Roman and Marisa, Larry Tapia and his children, Larry Jr. (great-grandson Carlos Antonio), Dominic, Jade, and Lauren; two daughters, Sandra Tapia-Cotinola, her children, Ron Jr., and Julie Ann, and Dorothy Ann Tapia-Chavez and her husband Gabriel, and their daughter, Salena all of Albuquerque; and grandson Ramon Tapia of Medford, OR (Jerry's son); and numerous other family members and friends. Mrs. Tapia was a resident of Albuquerque and a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited this afternoon (Sunday) at 4:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Mrs. Tapia will lie in state Monday morning from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 8:00 a.m. also at the Church. Committal Services and Interment will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cotinola, Jr., Miguel Tapia, Ramon Tapia, Larry Tapia, Jr., Roman Tapia, and Dominic Tapia.
