MICHAEL G. Major Michael G. Evinrude, USMC, (Ret), 64, was promoted into eternal peace on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Michael is survived by his brother, Mark Evinrude; sister, Trudi Ness and husband, Robert; one aunt; and one uncle. He was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Marion Evinrude. Mike was born in Milwaukee, WI and schooled in S.E. Wisconsin. He attended two year college in Stevens Point, WI. At the age of 20, he entered into the Marine Corps. In 1963, Mike attended Oklahoma University under O.C.S. and joined the ranks as a Marine Corps career officer. After retiring from the Corps in 1986, Michael worked in security at the Intel Corporation until 1995. Michael's love of the USMC was unconditional. Memorial Services will be held Monday, July 2, 2007, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. A Fallen Marine Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at Post 401, VFW, 2011 Girard SE. Contributions may be made to Marine Corps League Foundation, P.O.
