Patsy Joan Burnett, born March 1, 1933 in Elmer, OK, passed from this world to be with the Lord on June 27, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Velmer D. and Lottie M. Burnett; sister, Sue Thompson; brother, Elmer D. Burnett; and son, Roger A. Burnett, who was 18 months old when he passed in 1955. She is survived her husband of 55 years, Wriley Leon Burnett; oldest son, Wriley Lynn Burnett and wife, Kathy L., their daughter, Tanya S. Burnett and son, Wriley J. Burnett; middle son, David L. Burnett and wife, Diana L., their son, David L. Burnett and two daughters, Deborah L. Burnett and Danielle L. Burnett, and grandson, Joshua Burnett; youngest son, Richard D. Burnett and wife, Roseland N., and their daughter, Alana Burnett; as well as many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. In lieu of flowers or cards, the family asks that you would please make a donation in Patsy's honor to Presbyterian Hospice at Kaseman Hospital, 8300 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, who provided her care for the last four days of her life. The family would like to thank Presbyterian Hospice and complement them, not only for Patsy's care, but for helping the whole family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd. NE, near the intersection of Indian School and San Mateo.
