John William Davis, age 74, passed away June 15, 2007. He was born in Mount Pleasant, MI, and moved to Toledo, OH near the end of WWII. After graduating from Macomber Vocational High School, he entered the U.S. Marine Corp. After serving, he was honorably discharged in November 1954. He soon married Nancy Hoy. Together they had two sons. After moving to Albuquerque, NM, he worked at Albuquerque Publishing for 25 years. He was an avid fisherman whenever he could get away. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, John Fredric and wife Susan, and Joseph Paul; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Samuel. Many thanks from the family to everyone at Lovelace Downtown and Albuquerque Care Center for all of their caring, and to Riverside Funeral Home for helping with the final arrangements.
