Jesse James, 44, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, surrounded by his family. Jesse was born on December 24, 1962, in Pasadena, CA to Jesse and Julia James. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, camping, hiking, and spending time with his son and daughter. Jesse lived every day to its fullest potential, always looking forward to climbing the highest mountain. He was a Navy veteran, having served three years on the USS America. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia James Keary, who he now joins in heaven. He is survived by his daughter, Christy James; son, Jesse Jerry James; father, Jesse Junior James; sisters, Michelle Cox and husband, Larry, Debbie Montoya, Diane Wojeas, Missy Shakespeare and husband, Scott; brother, Jeff James; along with many family and friends. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel on Monday, June 18, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to be in the procession to the Santa Fe National Cemetery should please meet Tuesday, June 19, 2007, 9:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2007, 11:30 a.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
