Robert John Burton passed away June1, 2007 at Walnut Creek, CA. Robert was born in Brush, CO on October 7, 1923. He spent most of his youth in Manitou Springs, CO, graduating from Manitou Springs High School with High Honors. He was in the U.S. Navy for four years during WWII. He married Flora Edwards on June 12, 1943. He earned his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Robert worked at Sandia Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM for 30 years. After retirement, he made his home in Ft. Bragg, CA. Flora and Robert had three children and four grandchildren.
