Glenda Udell Schildknecht, 80, of Hot Springs, AR, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007. Glenda was born to Lester and Virgie Marchant on September 9, 1926 in Bonham, TX. Glenda was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold E. Schildknecht; and son, Philip D. Schildknecht. She is survived by her two grandchildren, Heather (Bryan) Taylor and Galen Schildknecht; one great-grandchild, Hannah Claire Taylor; her brother, Noel Marchant; and two nieces, Judy (Woody) Simpson and Patti (Bucky) Eacret. From the day that Glenda's son, Phil, married Janna Little, she considered Janna as her own daughter. Even through changes in the family structure, Glenda and Janna remained very close. When Janna married Robert "Bob" P. Pfautz, Glenda embraced Bob as her son; Robert (Dorothe) P. Pfautz Jr. and Cindy (Bryan) Davis as her grandchildren; and Darron, Hollan, Ava Grace, and Adam as her great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Health Park Hospital and Arkansas Hospice of Hot Springs for the loving care they offered Glenda and the family. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Forest Hill Funeral Home South 2545 East Holmes Road; Memphis, TN 38118; 901-346-3250.
