Lorenzo R. Lucero, age 59, beloved and devoted father, grandfather, son, and brother, went home to be with the Lord our Savior, and Patron San Lorenzo, on Friday, June 1, 2007. He was a resident of Rio Rancho, formerly of Bernalillo, NM. He enjoyed playing the guitar, especially when he participated in the San Lorenzo Fiestas of Bernalillo, NM. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lugardita Lucero; a sister; and three brothers. Lorenzo is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Gladys Lucero of the family home; his loving children, Bernadette Valdez of Rio Rancho, Lawrence Jr. of Bernalillo, Rick and Robert Lucero of Rio Rancho; his granddaughters, Cynthia, Ashley, Jennifer, and Eva; his father, Luciano Lucero of Bernalillo; brothers and sisters. Visitations will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church.
