Howard "Smiley" Utley, age 60, of Rio Rancho, passed away after a battle with mesotheleoma cancer, Sunday, May 13, 2007. Smiley was a loving husband to his wife, Kathie. He was an avid fan of professional wrestling and loved working on cars. Smiley was great with his hands, and could fix or build almost anything. Smiley is survived by his wife Kathie; son, Howard, Jr.; daughter, Christina Marie; step-daughters, Shelley and Heather; and grandchildren. A memorial Service will be held Monday, May 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE with a reception to follow.
