Frances "Frankie" Gellert, 76, a resident of Albuquerque for 14 years, died Thursday, May 17, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Werner Gellert; daughter, Julie Gellert-Ligon and husband, David Ligon; grandson, Brandon William Ligon, all of Bricktown, NJ; and sister, Shirley Levey of Aurora, CO. Frankie was the Co-Founder of The New Mexico Holocaust and Intolerance Museum. She was a member of Congregation Albert Sisterhood. Services will be held Sunday, May 20, 2007, 3:00 p.m., at Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. The family requests contributions be made to the Frances "Frankie" Gellert Endowment-Memorial Fund in care of the New Mexico Holocaust and Intolerance Museum, 415 Central Ave. NW, 87102.
