Joe W. Dietmeier, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since October 28, 1947, died Thursday, May 17, 2007. He is survived by his spouse, Peg (Margaret) of the family home; daughter, Peggy Jo Dietmeier and Richard Fry of Stanfield, AZ; sister, Shirley Dwyer of Ft. Collins, CO. He was preceded in death by brothers, Dick Dietmeier, and Bob Dietmeier. Joe was a WWII Veteran of the Army Air Force and a member of the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Posse for 50 years. He was honored to be Grand Marshall for the New Mexico State Fair Parade for numerous years. He was owner and manger of Joe Dietmeier Horse and Stock Trailers. He loved to ride his horses and fish. Celebration of Life Services will be held Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Posse building, 10308 2nd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.
