Alan Gregory Zecca, 42, passed away April 24, 2007. He was born January 2, 1965 in Kansas City, MO and he was raised in Gallup, NM. Alan Zecca received his Bachelor of Science in 1989 and his Masters of Business in 1993 from Western New Mexico University. He then taught and coached at Gallup Junior High School for a time. Alan moved to Phoenix, where he had taught at St. Catharine's of Sienna and worked in accounting. He will be truly missed! A kind loving soul, Alan enjoyed; sports, fishing, hunting, horses, the outdoors, cooking and spending time with children. Survivors include his beloved daughter, Rachael N. Zecca of Gilbert, AZ; his parents, Dr. Franklin B. and Jerry Lee Zecca, both of Gallup; brothers, Glen F. Zecca of Gilbert, AZ and John J. Zecca of Gallup; his sisters, Carol Lee McCann of Scottsdale, AZ and Julie C. Zecca of Albuquerque, NM Alan Zecca was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerry J. and Frances Hurta; and fraternal grandparents, Guido and Valentina Zecca. Services were handled by Rollie Mortuary of Gallup, NM. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to The Salvation Army - The Boys & Girls Club's of America.
