Obituary for ARCHULETA

Joe A. "Tony" Archuleta, 62, formerly of Denver, passed away after being ill in Albuquerque on May 2, 2007. Tony's survived by his children, Tony Archuleta II, 26; Sasha Nicole Lamb-Archuleta, 16; Chrystal Victoria Archuleta, 14; his brother, Edward Archuleta; nephews, Gerald, Edward, and Frank; and two half-sisters. Tony was dearly loved by the Marcelli and Maese Families; Cathy Gonzales; Dolores Espinoza; Jerry Fransua; Anna Casias; his many other friends; the Stout Street Foundation; and his clients at Multi-Family Services in Denver. Tony received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Metropolitan State College in Denver. Tony also served in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1969 and received many Medals of Valor during the Viet Nam War. Cremation has taken place by Direct Services, Albuquerque. There will be a Memorial Service in the Chapel at Hotel Albuquerque, 800 Rio Grande NW, at 12 noon, Sunday, May 6, 2007. A luncheon will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Reception Hall at West Park Apartments, 9251 Eagle Ranch Rd. NW. Tony's remains will be laid to rest at the Veterans Cemetary in Santa Fe on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Should friends desire, contributions may be made at the Bank of Albuquerque c/o Teresa A.
