Warren Yeast passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007 in Albuquerque. He was born in Harrodsburg, KY, August 9, 1923, to John and Cordabelle Darling-Yeast. Warren served his country in the United States Army as a First Sergeant. He retired from the United States Army in 1972. After military retirement he worked in the trucking industry for 20 years. He is survived by his daughters, Sondra Tye and Barbara Lamonde and husband, Maurice; son, John Yeast and his wife, Linda; grandchildren, Allison Tye, Trey Lamonde, PFC Cory Lamonde currently serving in Iraq, Mikael Ann Lamonde, Krista Yeast and Bryan Yeast; and great-grandchildren, Victoria and Gabrielle Tye. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 26 years, Ethel Abeyta Yeast; four brothers; and one sister. Services will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, on Thursday, May 3, 2007, 10:00 a.m. until Service time.
