E. Pauline Behnke Halvorson, age 95, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2007. She was a member of Valley Lutheran Church in Los Lunas, Belen Elks Lodge 2499, ladies auxiliary, Horizon Club of Belen, AARP, Sunshine Chapter of Extension Club, Belen Ladies of Pythians, and 1st Wednesday Birthday Ladies Lunch. Pauline retired from Los Lunas Hospital and Training School after more than 20 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband, R. Paul Behnke, and second husband, Everett L. Halvorson. Pauline is survived by her three loving daughters, Connie Kinnear and her husband, Perry of Thousand Oaks, CA, Diana Spears and her husband, Jerry of Carmel, IN, and Sharman Hageman and her husband, Keith of Chandler, AZ; special friends and caretakers, Myrna Luna and her husband, Tacho of Belen, and Pat Dawe of Belen; and many other close, dear, and long-time friends. Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 3, 2007 beginning with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. followed with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Vogler officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Memorial Garden in Belen, NM. Pallbearers will be Tacho Luna, Jerome Chavez, Nick Carrasco, Carlos Herrera, Jerry Spears, and Perry Kinnear.
