Norman R. Ginn, 81, of Bremerton, WA, passed away on April 22, 2007. Norman was born on April 10, 1926 in Independence, MO. Norman graduated form William Chrisman High School in Independence in 1946. On February 14, 1947, Norman married Eleanor L. (Zagalo). Norman served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 as an Aviation Ordinanceman Second Class. He was stationed at the U.S. Naval Patrol Air Unit Marine Corps Station in Mojave, CA. After his service, Norman worked in the communications field as a Toll Tester for Pacific Bell Area Service for 40 years in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Norman was a life member of the EAA. He built homebuilt airplanes and test flew. Norman also built kit cars and was very close to his dog, Chico. Norman is survived by his wife of Bremerton; sons, Robert (Carla) of Bremerton and Ronald (Mary) of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Dean (Viola) of Bend, OR; grandchildren, Scott, Jason, Shawn, Michelle, Shernia, and Marisa; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Taylor. A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on April 26, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to: EAA-Memorial Gifts, PO Box 3086, Oshkosh, WI 54903.
