Sophie C. Mrs. Sophie C. Lopez, 80, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 20, 2007, peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her loving children, Rosie Fernandez, Edward Lopez and wife, Patsy, Johnny Lopez and wife, Helen, Alice Flores, Ernest Lopez, Jerry Lopez and wife, Debbie and Debbie Payan. Mrs. Lopez is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Lopez and her parents, Albert and Antonia Candelaria. Mrs. Lopez was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Clairmont NE from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Deacon Dan Lopez. Final visitation will be Monday morning at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vicente Fernandez, Nicholas Fernandez, Manuel Lopez, Joseph Linam, Edward Lopez and Johnny Lopez.
