Sylvia S. Skolnick, 82, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007. She was born March 28, 1925 in New York City, a daughter of Julius and Jennie Simon. She married Nathan Skolnick, June 18, 1944. Nathan and Sylvia moved to Albuquerque in 1973. She loved to entertain, and was certainly in her element when doing so. She is probably in heaven cooking for someone. She loved to golf. Survivors include her husband, Nathan; her son, Michael and his wife, Joyce. Cremation is under the direction of French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. Sylvia received superb care at Manzano del Sol Good Samaritan Village. Because of their loving care, the family suggests donations to the Village in Sylvia's name.
