Obituary for JACK

Dorothy Lou Dobbs Jack, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Manzano del Sol in Albuquerque. She was born in Blanchard, OK, on June 9, 1917 to Gertie May Ray and George Thomas Dobbs. She received her undergraduate degree from East Central State College in Ada, OK and her Masters from Western New Mexico University. She taught school in Oklahoma and Texas before relocating to Albuquerque where she taught second grade from 1952 to 1980 at Montezuma Elementary. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ann Myers and husband, Ray Montanez; son, J.T. Jack and wife, Rajeane of Albuquerque; son, Bruce Arlen Jack and wife, Barbara of Gunter, TX; and daughter, Janice Marie Anderson and husband, John of Monument, CO; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family wants to thank the care-givers at Manzano del Sol Nursing Center. A special thanks goes to Trish Davis, private care-giver. A private family Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
