Frederick "Fred" R. Egan, 62, a resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Santa Fe, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. He was born in Bauxite, AR to William and Helen Egan, both who preceded him in death. Fred moved with his family to Santa Fe where he graduated from St. Michaels High School. He attended NMSU and the College of Santa Fe before residing in Albuquerque. Fred is survived by his sister, Kathleen Wheet and husband, Gary, of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Margaret Vallante and husband, John, of West Greenwich, RI; brother, William Egan and wife, Luanne, of Seattle, WA; sister, Patricia Wagner and husband, Jeff, of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Barbara Madrid and husband, Meliton, of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Deanna Crawley and husband, Mark, of Albuquerque, NM; and sister, Michelle Egan and special friend, Scott Gallery of Albuquerque. Fred is also survived by five nieces; three nephews; two grand-nephews; and a grand-niece. He was a loving brother and uncle and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
