Obituary for EGAN

Frederick "Fred" R. Egan, 62, a resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Santa Fe, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. He was born in Bauxite, AR to William and Helen Egan, both who preceded him in death. Fred moved with his family to Santa Fe where he graduated from St. Michaels High School. He attended NMSU and the College of Santa Fe before residing in Albuquerque. Fred is survived by his sister, Kathleen Wheet and husband, Gary, of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Margaret Vallante and husband, John, of West Greenwich, RI; brother, William Egan and wife, Luanne, of Seattle, WA; sister, Patricia Wagner and husband, Jeff, of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Barbara Madrid and husband, Meliton, of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Deanna Crawley and husband, Mark, of Albuquerque, NM; and sister, Michelle Egan and special friend, Scott Gallery of Albuquerque. Fred is also survived by five nieces; three nephews; two grand-nephews; and a grand-niece. He was a loving brother and uncle and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and his family will celebrate his life with a Memorial Rosary at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Sunday, April 15, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel Ave. NE on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association Local affiliate, 2201 San Pedro NE, Building 2, Suite 102, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or the American Diabetes Association of NM, 2625 Pennsylvania NE, Suite 225, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
