Mary D., 88, passed away April 12, 2007 in Las Animas, Colorado. She was born February 6, 1919 in Powell, WY to Oscar and Adaline Townsend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Condit, Sr.; her parents; brothers Clyde and Billy; and her sister Doris. Mrs. Condit is survived by her son Clifford C. Condit., Jr. and wife Nancy; her daughter Sharon Sue Decker and husband Robert Decker of Lamar, CO; six grandchildren Kim, Tracy, Dean, Chuck, Kevin and Justin; 2 step-grandchildren Linda and Pam; 9 great-grandchildren; and 7 step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Condit has been a member of the Sew-Sew Club since its beginning in 1950. Mary loved to play Bingo. She was a self-taught artist and painted landscapes in oil. She was a member of the VFW Post 2182 Auxiliary in Farmington, NM. Services will be Monday, April 16, 2007, 3:00 p.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE.
