Christobal L. Vigil "Libby", was born March 5, 1954 in Las Vegas, NM. He passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at his home in Albuquerque. Libby enjoyed watching movies, listening to talk radio and music. He will be remembered for always wanting to visit and tell stories, as well as, spend time with his family and friends. Libby was preceded in death by his father, Christobal Vigil and brother, James "Tudy" Archuleta. He is survived by his mother, Mary Vigil of Las Vegas, NM; two children, Monica Winter-Vigil of California, Christobal F. Vigil and fiance, Melodie Carmona of Albuquerque; five sisters, Priscilla Quintana, Beatrice Ortega and Adelina Vigil all of California and Sally Almanzar and Fabby Archuleta both of Las Vegas, NM; one brother, Leo Vigil of Las Vegas, NM; several nieces, nephews; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A viewing will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00pm, with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 10:00am. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
