Mary K. (Johnson) Pohl, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007. She was born July 2, 1926 in Cuba, NM on the family homestead of Joel and Lois Hale. Mary worked in several community charity organizations during her lifetime and she was very proud of being a 3rd degree Odd Fellow and a member of the Rebekah Lodge #36. Nana retired from Levi Strauss and Company after many years of service to spend time with her grandchildren, whom will miss her greatly. Surviving are her twin brother, Marion Hale and wife, Eva of Alamosa, CO; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Johnathon Hood; grandchildren, John T. Wickersham, Rebecca and husband, M.C. Hood, Colter Law, Angelina and Mia Gonzalez-Aller; daughters, Doris Wickersham and husband, John F. of La Puebla, NM and Joyce Gonzalez-Aller of Albuquerque. Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Lula Mae Graves; brother, Lewis "Buddy" Hale; two nephews, Kenneth and Johnnie Graves; and niece Wendy Adolph.
