She was a lifelong member of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Her parents; sister, Annie Apodaca Herrera; her beloved husband, Manuel; and granddaughter, Tanya Montoya preceded her in death.
