Obituary for HULL

Constance (Connie) R. Hull passed peacefully on March 24, 2007. She was born in El Paso, TX, on February 19, 1909. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Clifton Hull; infant, Constance Janice; brother, Orville Read (Ruth); and parents, Elizabeth and Roscoe Read. Connie led a rich and full 98 years. After growing up in Tucumcari, NM, where she was class valedictorian, she attended the University of MO where she was President of her Chi Omega Sorority, Treasurer of the student body and a member Mortar Board Academic Honorary. She was a dedicated educator; elder and deacon in First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque, NM; and a Meals on Wheels volunteer. Initiated into Ch D in Tucumcari and later a member of Ch V in Albuquerque, she was a P.E.O. for 78 years. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Betty Vivian (Joe), Kathy Holman (Ed Kniep) of St. Louis; grandchildren, Beverly Cope (Jim), Teri Pruitt, Joe Ray Vivian (Kerry), Ben Holman (Pam), Greg Holman (Becky), Tom Holman; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul NE, Albuquerque, NM. Friends may visit Wednesday, April 4, 2007, from 4 - 7 p.m. at French Mortuary, 1111 University NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, 215 Locust NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87106 or a charity of your choice.
