LUCILLE N. Mrs. Bondy, 89, recently of Charlotte, NC, and longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, slipped away peacefully on March 30, 2007 after a brief illness. She goes now to join her son, Russell; her parents, Levi and Alberta Atkins; her sister, Iona; and her brothers, Clair, Rayburn, and Gene; and her late husband, Bob. Her son, Steve, close friend, Donna and grandson, Christopher were at her bedside as she passed. The many calls from friends and family were greatly appreciated. Of particular joy was the opportunity to visit with her nieces and nephews and their families. Their visits brought much comfort to her. She requested that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Funeral services will be private.
