Michael Lee Spires, 58, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM for the past 10 years, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007. Mike was always building things in his spare time; and he liked to hunt and fish. He was a member of the VFW; and the Local Union #669. Mike is survived by his wife of 19 years, Esther (Gomez) Spires of Rio Rancho; children, Michael Spires, Jr. of Tulsa, OK, Sarah Takikawa of Seaside, CA, Manuel Vasquez of Visalia, CA, Anthony Vasquez of Albuquerque, NM, and Marcos Vasquez of Rio Rancho, NM; one grandson, Jacob; and one brother Jerry Spires and wife Sue of Mounds, OK. The visitation will be held on WEDNESDAY, March 28, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. The Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on THURSDAY, March 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services.
