Obituary for FARRELL

Byrl Edmon Farrell, 89, loving father and grandfather, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2007 from Parkinson's Disease. He was born on August 12, 1917 in East St. Louis, IL, but was a long-time resident of Albuquerque. Byrl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Jeane; brothers, Charles William and Virgil; and parents, Charles and Minnie Farrell. He is survived by his daughter, Debra Farrell; granddaughters, Tasha Boyer, Lily O'Farrell, and Camille O'Farrell; nephews, Ronald Lee Farrell and Larry Farrell. Byrl was a graduate of Phoenix Union High School, served in the Navy, was a veteran of World War II, and retired from an inspector position with General Electric. He was a faithful member of Monte Vista Christian Church, a devoted St. Louis Cardinals Fan, and an avid wood-worker. Services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE. Private interment will follow. Friends may visit at French Mortuary on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions in honor of Byrl Edmon Farrell be made to the Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
