Obituary for STRADER

Frances Lana Strader, 89, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2007, after a short illness with her family at her side. She was born in Drumright, OK and moved to Albuquerque in 1949. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, John Strader in 2006. Frances is survived by her sons, DeWayne and wife, Kathleen and Daryl and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Dana (Dan) Pfingsten, Jolene (Davison) Gault, Brian, Eric (Kelli), Todd, Derek (Jessica), John (Berenice), Brandon (Jessica) Buckner, Krissy Buckner; great-grandchildren, Garrett Greer, Andrew and Christopher Guidi, Ivan, Cordney, Ethan, and Donovan Strader, Bradley Fussell, Ty, Daxton, Devon, and Cassandra Strader. Frances was a teacher's aide at Del Norte Baptist Church for many years. She and John were avid RVers with the Manzanita Sam and Siglo de Oro RV Clubs. She was a dedicated servant of the Lord and a charter member and Sunday school teacher at Del Norte Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, March 18, 2007, 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Services will be Monday, March 19, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd., NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
