Obituary for GARZA

Eufemiano Garza, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007. He was born on October 17, 1921 in Willard, NM to Eufemiano and Margarita Garza. Mr. Garza married Juanita L. on June 14, 1955 in Bernalillo. Mr. Garza retired from Sandia Labs after 40 years of service. He also was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Army Air Corps. 82nd Airborne Division as a Paratrooper. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Juanita Garza; two daughters, Felice Tapia and husband, Michael and Margarita Garza; two sons, Tito F. Garza, all of Albuquerque and Marcos L. Garza and wife, Gina of Denver, CO; six grandchildren, Paul, Lawrence, Eric, Gino, Rachel and Porche; several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Joe and John Garza. Mr. Garza was preceded in death by his sisters, Amalia Sifuentes, Matilda Luna, and Mary Hernandez; and his brother, Ismael Garza. Services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Monday, March 19, 2007, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
