Irene A. Anderson, 76, of Hobbs, formerly of Edgewood, New Mexico, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007 at Hobbs Health Care. Services were March 7, 2007 at Griffin Funeral Home in Hobbs, New Mexico. Mrs. Anderson was born on May 17, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Anna Weyraska Finegan. She grew up in Chicago and later married Gerald E. Anderson on January 30, 1955 in Chicago. Mrs. Anderson moved to Edgewood, New Mexico about 28 years ago. Her favorite pastime was dancing and her family. Mrs. Anderson was a Vice President of an Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Lucille Daniel. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her sons, Greg Daniel and his wife Bobbie Jones and Dr. Michael Anderson; a sister Dorothy Echlin of Burr Ridge, Illinois; a granddaughter, Renee Palmares and her husband Jessie; and two great grandchildren, Elijah and Andrew.
