Fred J. Austin, age 59, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 7, 2007, following a brave and fearless battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother, Margaret M. Austin; brothers, Billie, Richard, Steve, and Michael Austin; sisters, Jeannie Montoya, Edwina Martinez, Alberta Coleman, Barbara Olivas, Loretta Stone and Judy Silva; former wife, Bernadette Austin and sons, Jude Bonaface, Joseph Anthony, David "Sparky" Matthew, Tomas Rey and Michael Fredrick Austin; former wife, Georgean L. Austin and children, Marisol Marguerite and Alejandro Joseph Austin; grandchildren, Jessica, Jude, Lucas Noah, Eden Jolie and Ezekiel; great granddaughter, Laila; many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. SW. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. May he walk in the glory of God and rest in peace forever.
