John Louis Blake, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was born November 15, 1969. Our loving son, brother, father and friend passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007. John Louis was a truck driver for many years and he will be remembered for living life to the fullest. He is survived by his loving parents, Daniel and Mary Jane Blake; his four loving children, John Louis Blake Jr., Jonathan Blake, Val Marie Blake and Ronnie Blake; brother, Daniel David Blake Jr.; sister, Anna Louise Blake; Nikki Mavrogenis who was like a sister to John Louis; many aunts, uncles, several cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Valley Gospel Tabernacle, 1820 Valley Rd. SW. (Off Isleta north of Blake). A Visitation and Prayer Service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Smith officiating. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery with Bruce Gonzales, Gary Blake, Tino Chavez, Hubert Dahl, John L. Blake Jr. and Ruben Moore serving as pallbearers.
