Christina Lynn Apodaca December 15, 1955 - February 18, 2007 Former Resident of Albuquerque Christina passed away at home just outside of Melbourne, Australia, February 18, 2007. Christina was a longtime resident of Albuquerque who recently had moved to Australia with her fiance. Christina is survived by her loving fiance, Daniel Hauserman; her father, Augustine Apodaca of Albuquerque; daughter, Sarah Wald and husband, Ben Wald of Concord, CA; granddaughter, Amanda Velez; sisters, Aunna Apodaca and Angie DeSimone; brother, Augustine Apodaca Jr.; her dog, Oso; and an extended loving family. Christina was passionate about the Native American culture, and was a gifted artist. She enjoyed music, books and was an avid Scrabble player, which she rarely lost at. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Indian Cultural Center in Albuquerque: 2401 12th Street NW. Friends and family are invited.
