Ella Catherine Wheat, 81, beloved mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Wheat. She was born on March 14, 1925 in South Bend, Indiana. She is survived by her four children, Linda Torres, Rick Stewart, Becky Wright and husband, Roger, Laura Juarez and husband, Richard. Grandchildren, Marie Torres, Michael Torres, Jordanna Stewart, Christina Tafoya, Curtis Clary, Willa Inbody, husband, Chris, Jason Wright, Ariel Wright, Amanda Wormington, husband, Cade, Ricardo Juarez,and Malisa Juarez. Great-grandchildren, Patrick Torres, Teva Wright and Makaila Wormington. Ella will live in the hearts and memories of those whose lives she touched with her kind and gentle spirit. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed dearly. A special "Thank You" to the Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice staff for their kind and loving care. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services.
