Obituary for RYSANEK

Allan Lee Rysanek, 69, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Santa Fe, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007. He is survived by Fran, his wife of almost 47 years; and his son, Tim Rysanek and wife, Laure; grandchildren, Timothy and Lauren of Gallup; his daughter, Jacqueline King; and granddaughters, Sheena and Savannah; and great-grandson, Kaeleb of Albuquerque; daughter, Jennifer Rysanek; and grandchildren, Taylor and Cassidy of Albuquerque; and his son, John Rysanek; and grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah of Santa Fe and Rio Rancho; brother, Jon Rysanek and wife, Charlotte, and family of Chino Hills, CA; brother, Phil Rysanek and wife, Sue, of Manchester, NH; as well as niece, Karen Bayless and husband, Rick and family, of Reno, NV; niece, Kathleen Cline and husband, Peter and family, of Manchester, NH; and nephew, Jon Rysanek and wife, Marcia, and family, of Heber Springs, AR; and mother-in-law, Frances Reilly of Rio Rancho. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Louise Rysanek; and brother, Vincent Rysanek. Allan was a devoted husband and father who never saw an obstacle, only a challenge. He was a successful businessman, and owned and operated Stag Tobacconists in Santa Fe, with his wife Fran and family for 25 years before retiring several years ago to Albuquerque. He loved everyone, and was loved by all, especially his family and he is greatly missed. Our advisor and friend has moved on, but his wisdom and knowledge lives within us all. A visitation is planned for Friday, March 2, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel with Deacon Mark Bussemeier, officiating.
