Mary Marco, born October 1, 1919 in Cloquet, MN, passed away in her daughter's home in Dallas on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Mary was a 40-year resident of Albuquerque. Her jest for life and adventure took her to Europe after World War II to work where she met her husband Sidney. Her husband's military career took them back to Europe along with many stations of duty throughout the United States. In Albuquerque, she worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Upon her retirement she was involved in many organizations and activities and has fond memories of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Marco and a brother, Bob Bergeron. Mary is survived by her daughter, Vicky Marco and son-in-law, Eddie; and her two brothers, Don Bergeron and Everett Bergeron. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Graveside Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Sidney.
