MARK Mr. Mark Chavez, 44, passed away on February 23, 2007. Mark is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sarah Chavez; his sister, Patricia Mares and husband, Tomas; three children, Monique Chavez and Jorge Castanada, Stephanie Chavez, Gabriel Chavez, and Christine Jones; three grandchildren, Mariah, Jasmine and Gabriel Mark; his nieces, Karla Mares and Robert Garcia, Gina Mares, and Tamie and Rudy Mangum; his grandnieces and grandnephews, Kitana and JoeRay Mares-Garcia, Rudy and Alisiana Mangum; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Arthur Chavez. Mark was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. by Gabriella Nieto, Mass of Christian burial will follow at 9:00 a.m. a Franciscan Friar will preside. Private disposition will take place. Honorary pallbearers will be Monique, Stephanie and Gabriel Chavez, Karla and Gina Mares, and Tamie Mangum.
